Join the ODOT Safe Routes to School (SRTS) staff and Technical Service Providers to learn about new resources and to prepare for upcoming Non-Infrastructure and Infrastructure funding opportunities. We will also share the new SRTS Infrastructure Plan and the Project Identification Process for tracking changes needed to the built environment. The plan will cover typical infrastructure recommendations around schools and how to prepare for infrastructure funding opportunities.

Learn how to apply for the new and recurring ODOT Safe Routes to School Grant Program funds. In the spring and summer of 2019, the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) will solicit proposals for the next round of Safe Routes to School (SRTS) grant funding. ODOT and Commute Options staff will present a program overview and answer questions about these upcoming opportunities. The presentations will cover SRTS Infrastructure and Non-infrastructure Programs specifics including, timeline, eligibility, proposal selection process, match requirements, and proposal development tips. The target audiences include city, county, tribes, transit agency staff and interested public school representatives. All workshops are open to the general public.
