Equity Training: Trauma-Informed Practices

Instead of our February webinar, we invite you to attend this equity training.
Participants will learn about trauma-informed care and practices. These are approaches we can utilize at Safe Routes to support people who have experienced trauma by creating a safe environment that promotes healthy ways to cope. We will also be exploring how inequities can cause trauma and ways in which trauma-informed practices combat that by promoting equity and inclusion. Lastly, we will learn how to respond to someone who has experienced trauma. There will be many highly valuable lessons to take away from this training and apply to our programs and services at Safe Routes.
