Timeline:
- If you Applied for Part 1, you can now Apply for Part 2 May 6-July 31. You should have received an email from Xao on May 6, 2024, about how to access application Part 2. Please reach out to her directly if you haven’t received that email.
- Online office hours: Xao is holding four online office hours on May 13, June 10, June 24, and July 15 from 3pm – 4:30pm. You can join here. Please note that these office hours are only for applicants who are currently working on a Part 2 application. Please email Xao directly if you have general questions regarding the Safe Routes to School construction program.
Application Process:
- Step 1: read the guidelines and watch the informational webinar (Correction to the webinar: low-income metric will be using Title1A data and not Free & Reduced Lunch data. Current Free & Reduced Lunch Percentages still include Free & Reduced Lunch for All percentages and do not accurately reflect income levels. ODOT staff have updated the Applicant Resource Tool with this low-income information.).
- Step 2: review the scoring matrix and fill out online application part 1
- Step 3: fill out online application part 2 (opens May 6 – Access part 2 by using the unique link you received from Cognito via email on May 6. Reach out to Xao for any questions.)
