After a successful school year in Baker School District where 520 first through sixth graders learned bike and pedestrian safety education, it’s time for The Street Trust’s Jump Start fleet of bikes to move onto next year’s community, Roseburg!
The fleet was delivered on June 19 and a training was held for staff from the Boys and Girls Club and Umpqua Valley Bicycle Outreach. They will be working over the summer teaching students bike and pedestrian safety. Street Trust staff will be returning in August to train Roseburg Public Schools staff the curriculum as well so that they can get walking and rolling with students in PE over the 2019 – 2020 school year.
