ConnectOregon V funding has just been announced. This grant now includes bike and pedestrian projects. The applications are open now and are due the end of November 2013. Please see http://www.oregon.gov/ODOT/TD/TP/pages/connector.aspx for more details.
Be sure to check the "Bicycle/Pedestrian Primer" link, which describes eligible and ineligible bike/pedestrian projects. You’ll be surprised at what is not eligible and even more surprised at what IS eligible!
ConnectOregon is a highly competitive program with nearly double the requests received to available funding. Applicants are strongly encouraged to review the website describing the funding. Projects may receive up to 80% of project costs for grants with a minimum of 20% applicant CASH match.
2013-14 SRTS Non-infrastructure Grants
Thank you to the 11 communities who submitted their Non-Infrastrucure grant application for the 2013-14 grant year. The state's SRTS Advisory Committee is met and recommended the levels of funding. So far, the successful school districts for this year are:
Klamath Falls SD, Oakland SD, Corvallis SD, Bend-LaPine SD, Redmond SD, Lincoln Co SD (Newport), and Springfield SD. The others are in the last moments of being finalized.
